  5. Enfournez pour 40 minutes environ.

A recipe that makes us feel the taste of spring with this cherry tomatoes and French tomme cheese tart! I must say that with these beautiful days I’m in need of salad and vegetables tarts (and also want to take my summer dresses out!!). The taste of the cheese is the force of this recipe so I recommend that you put a strong cheese if you can’t find some tome (French mountain cheese)! And the short crust pastry is homemade – see the recipe below ! I used two molds for this cake but I give you below the quantities you need in order to make a big one (for 6 persons approximately).

Recipe for 6 people

Cooking Time: 40 min

Ingredients :

For the shortcrust pastry

  • 250g white flour
  • 8cl olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 4cl lukewarm water
  • A pinch of salt

For the garnish

  • 300g cherry tomatoes in bunches
  • 150g Tomme (French mountain cheese)
  • 2 eggs
  • 20cl single cream
  • Salt & Pepper of the mill

Steps :

  1. Make your dough, mixing in the bowl of a robot the flour, salt and the egg. Then add the olive oil and mix until everything is well incorporated. Add water until the dough forms a single ball. If the mixture becomes too liquid is that you put too much water, it will therefore be necessary to add the flour.
  2. Preheat your oven to 180°. Spread the dough and go for it in a tart mold.
  3. Remove on the paste your cherry tomatoes in cluster, as well as tomme cut in pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix the eggs, the liquid cream and salt and pepper and then add the all to the pie.
  5. Put in the oven for about 40 minutes.
